Tasting notes: This premier cru from Vaucoupin, lies on the right bank of the river Serein and is made from vines that are planted at an almost impossibly steep 45 degree angle and can only be harvested by hand. The wine has a lovely chalky base with notes of spring flowers and beeswax augmented by a lovely tart citrus core of fruit.
